Stocks to watch on Wednesday: Sprint (S) and T-Mobile (TMUS) - the wireless stocks jumped on Tuesday on speculation that a merger is finally in the works. The news doesn't add up, hence why T-Moible ended down on the day. The suggestion of an all-stock deal with the corporate office centered at Deutsche Telekom doesn't add up either. Don't chase the buyout rumor on these stocks. Chipotle Mexican Grill (CMG) - the market got another reminder of why one doesn't pay $450 for a stock expecting to earn slightly above $8 this year. Even the $12 for 2018 isn't enough to own Chipotle even after the dip to $425 following more promotional expenses. Amazon (AMZN) - announced intentions to enter the fashion sector. The market has officially entered peak Amazon fear, if one thinks Amazon is going to take sales away from fashion brands via Prime Wardrobe. The bigger threat to department stores are existing monthly fashion services. Freeport-McMoRan (FCX) - still like the stock at the 2017 lows while copper is holding above $2.50. Freeport-McMoRan is a cash flow machine at these copper price levels. Click on the Sign in/Sign up button in the top right corner to join for free to comment on your stock moves for tomorrow.
