Stocks to watch on Wednesday: Advanced Micro Devices (AMD) - the tech stock was recent pick in this column on the dip into the $10s. The news today that AMD is seeing high demand from cryptocurrency miners only adds to the momentum story. The jump to $12 today doesn't even get the stock close to the recent highs. Square (SQ) - the stock is getting to the point that one might want to dump shares as Square approaches $25. Apple (AAPL) is coming directly for Square Cash and the stock has seen massive gains lately. Those that bought on my multiple recommendations to buy under $10 should most definitely not chase the mobile-payments stock here and actually take some profits. The market value is nearly at $10 billion with revenues targeted at only $900 million. More research: Square: Should You Chase? Yelp (YELP) - as mentioned in a post yesterday, buy all these dips below $30. The stock is too cheap and even semi-bullish analysts place $37 targets on the consumer review stock while my view is that Yelp is worth far more. Twilio (TWLO) - the cloud communications stock continues to hold up from the insider purchases. Investors buying here have a easy stop if the stock can't hold the $23s, but my theory remains that the market is over thinking top customer defections.
