Stocks to watch on Thursday:Canopy Growth (CGC) - the Canadian cannabis company reports after the close. Don't expect much action from the stock as the excise tax and low supplies didn't provide the killer ramp to adult-use sales as expected. The market continues to be flooded with new supplies so avoid the stock unless momentum pushes the stock above $50. CenturyLink (CTL) - company cut the annual dividend to $1 providing a 7.5% dividend yield after the dip today. The market likes to freak out on dividend cuts, but CenturyLink is making the move to reduce leverage while maintaining FCF targets far in excess of dividend payout. The dip to the low $13s is an over reactions. Yelp (YELP) - solid numbers, a big stock buyback and strong 2023 targets had the stock rallying above $40 until Citi downgraded the stock. Yelp remains an extreme bargain trading at an EV/S of 2x. Disclosure: Long CTL, YELP
